29/07/08 Bedford Tigers 28 - Kent Ravens 22
|
The Ravens took on
the run away league leaders away in The match was close from kick off to final whistle unfortunately the Raven got on the wrong side of the referee and with a period of having four players in the sin bin the Tigers were able to stretch their lead. Tries came from winger Sean Franz from the second match in a row, Lee woollard, Matt Hayward, returnee from injury Constantine Hatzidakis and Phil Nicholls while centre Nick McPherson added the goals to give the Ravens 22 to Bedfords 28, though with the ravens in total control and a full squad on the pitch if the match had been 10 minutes longer the score would have shown a different story. |
