20/04/08 Grant Received to help Young Ravens Players Develop

On Thursday 17th April 2008 Princes Park Stadium and Kent Ravens RLFC played host to one of the most famous trophies in world sport - the Rugby Football League Challenge Cup. The cup, which is over 100 years old, was paraded on the pitch at the stadium which is home to the Kent Ravens in the upcoming season. |

People of all ages got the chance to have their photo taken with this famous trophy and study the famous names of teams and players that have won the trophy since its beginning in the 1896-97 season. Hopefully it inspired the young and the more experienced players even more to want to win trophies with the Kent Ravens this season.
